From the health center they state that the results on the reality of COVID-19 in Lorquí remain stable with respect to previous weeks.

Daily follow-up of affected people, contacts and possible positive cases continues in order to keep the situation as controlled as possible.

Thus, the Local Police has carried out in the last 10 days a total of 45 control points where around 700 people have been controlled and a total of 15 complaints have been initiated. Likewise, the aid and service tasks carried out by the Local Civil Protection Association are those closest to vulnerable and even affected people.

Every day they help more than 10 families so that they can remain confined and not put their own lives and those of others at risk.

The interventions they provide range from delivering food from Cáritas to people in need and making purchases in supermarkets or pharmacies to people who need it from the phone number 651 386 154, which is at the service of citizens.

During the last two weeks, a total of 258 interventions have been carried out, of which 60 were telematic, 114 were actions to distribute food, 50 were interventions in the distribution of homework and school supplies, 24 procedures in pharmacies and 3 procedures in the health center. They have also received 7 anonymous material donations.

The Lorquí City Council, since the state of alarm was decreed, has taken various measures to try to alleviate the effects that are deriving from this crisis, "in the Lorquí City Council, the renewal and application of measures will be adapted to the current situation of the crisis that we are living "declared Joaquín Hernández. The Local Development Department has created a unique information section with relevant documents on this crisis focused on companies, the self-employed, the unemployed and commerce, in addition to having the Royal Decrees approved during the State of alarm.

The 'Don't queue' initiative has also been created, where in these moments of sanitary emergency, the businesses of the municipality and the City Council have come together to make our essential purchases more agile and safe "The aim of all measures is to try to reduce the curve as much as possible to get out of this situation, "says Hernández.
