Development promotes remodeling of housing and urban spaces in the historic center of Lorquí with an investment of 840,000 euros (07/04/2016)

The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Barnabas, accompanied by the mayor of Lorquí, Joaquin Hernandez, today presented the project for the rehabilitation of housing and remodeling of urban spaces in the urban center of the municipality, involving a total investment of 842,035 euros.

Bernabe said that "we must keep in mind the importance the adequacy of housing and spaces we enjoy daily to maintain levels of well-being, safety and comfort of the house" and this purpose is born this project, within the current Housing Plan.

The regional official said that this action "is the result of synergy, positive and necessary, emerging from the public-private partnership between government and private homeowners, and provides key initiatives to contribute to the revival of real estate ".

Thus, the Ministry of Public Works, the Autonomous Community and the City "promoted jointly renewal with an important contribution of 540,715 euros, representing 64.2 percent of total performance, which helps directly to the owners, who take the rest of the amount, 301,320 euros, "said the counselor.

In this regard, he stressed that they will publish two calls for grants to help finance rehabilitation activities, consisting of maintenance and intervention on common elements and facilities of buildings and housing, and housing reconstruction.

Scope

The area is delimited to the ARRU extends from the center of Lorquí, with the St. James Church and the Church Square to the southeast and southwest.

This area is structured by narrow roads that are arranged around the Plaza de la Libertad, public space center from the town center is organized.

Calls for aid will be published this week in the BORM and interested citizens have until May 20 to qualify for aid.

In the case of rehabilitation, aid can reach up to 47 percent of the protected budget, with a maximum amount of 14,850 euros per household, and the reconstruction will account for 35 percent of the total cost, with a maximum of 30,000 euros per household.

For rehabilitation, payment of aid will be recognized in two installments.

The first will be 25.9 percent of total aid, following the resolution of recognition of the grant and the rest of the aid will be made once the beneficiary contribution by the municipal urban license or other authorization certificate, and justification of completion and payment of works.

For performances reconstruction will be paid prior to this 30 per cent of aid on presentation of the municipal license and certificate start work, and the remaining amount will be paid once provided the final work certificate, upon justification execution and payment of works.
