The City of Lorquí, through the Department of Health, held for the fourth consecutive year the Healthy Week municipality with the aim of transferring and promoting routines and healthy lifestyle habits that are part of the daily lives of the residents of so that these practices are made naturally without involving an effort for them or they become a timely act.
"With this initiative, which has great welcome in our people, we try to disseminate healthy lifestyles for all ages, by involving citizens in numerous events, competitions and activities", as highlighted by the councilman of Health, Jesus Abenza .
He also indicated that this time we have tried to prioritize physical activity and proper nutrition to prevent disease and promote healthy lifestyles.
"The scheduled activities meet the main needs and problems identified from an analysis of the state of health of the residents of Lorquí, including a survey on healthy habits, diet and physical activity, held to students of the municipality".
Within the program, which began on Friday May 27 with a talk on the importance of hydration for health, numerous quotations that will run until June 4 and will visit the most emblematic and central locations in the municipality, as included the weekly market, the Town Hall Square or schools.
In this issue initiatives such as the 'Healthy Breakfast' is repeated, extending it to schools in Lorquí and with the presence of Mireia, MasterChef contestant 3, the photo contest 'My advice Healthy' and pet Lorquí;
and new activities such as lectures on oral health for children or walk 'Patea your people' are incorporated.
On the occasion of World Day of Environment will be re-distribute plants in primary schools.
"We want this to serve healthy week in Lorquí is alive, and think it is healthy," says Abenza.
