Lorquí is a municipality with a strong musical tradition, and it plays a leading role in many homes and most important events and events held throughout the year.
As a result of this sensitivity for music was born in 1984 in the village the Association of Friends of Music Lorquí and under its protection the Music School of the municipality in which currently more than 200 students are trained in a wide educational offer 14 specialties and 8 subjects.

In addition to the educational offer, the Association of Friends of Music Lorquí has ​​several groups that allow integration and socialization of musicians in different ways: Band, Coral Jean Sibelius, Group Metals, Ensemble Clarinet, Saxophone Ensemble Orchestra, Flute, Piano Collective, Modern Music Combos, Guitar Ensemble and Percussion Group.
