The City Council of Lorquí approves the General Budgets for 2017, amounting to 7,905,240.24 euros, based on stability and the balance between income and expenses, and in which there is an increase of almost 900,000 euros with respect to the year Above that have a purpose for investments.
These have as fundamental axes the maintenance of public services, the provision of important infrastructure for the municipality, social care, promotion of employment and development of industrial estates, and maintenance of quality public services;

Thus, as noted by the Councilor for Finance, Carmen Baños, are real budgets, because there is a balance between expenditure and income and meet the objective of budgetary stability and financial sustainability,

Social, because they focus on the attention to the neighbors and in the maintenance of the quality public services;
And of the future because they contemplate and allow the growth of the municipality through the provision of infrastructure and the development of industrial areas, fundamental for the creation of employment.
In addition, these budgets "are the result of years of management, not a new budget, but the continuation of the path initiated of good practices and fulfillment of real commitments, with a rigorous level of Transparency", as the mayor of Municipality, Joaquín Hernández.
In these, the Government Team reaffirms its commitment to the neighbors of Lorquí who continue to be the center of municipal political attention and with a series of guiding principles guiding the action of government: efficiency, efficiency, austerity and transparency.

The budgets for 2017 in its chapter of investments, which increases by 219% over the previous year rising from 326,381 euros to 1,041,719 euros, takes into account both small investments, not small ones are less important as they serve To the demands of local residents and villages, and collect important projects such as the Local Police Headquarters, whose completion is imminent, the Municipal Pool, which will allow the provision of this service in our municipality, and a multi-year plan to finish the Center for Cultural Promotion with a budget of 1,286,000 euros.
"A very important effort has been made to clean up the City Hall and thus to be able to face investments in infrastructures that are very necessary for the development and growth of our people," Hernández said.
