The "Summer School 2010" Lorqui, which began on July 1, has closed its doors.
And after a month of classes at school, "Dolores Escámez", it has today, Friday July 30 with a celebration in which the protagonists have been the choreography and the performances of humor carried out by young students.
Upon completion of these activities and under the watchful gaze of their families, the mayor ilorcitana, Dolores Garcia Villa, and Councillor for Culture, Antonio Asensio, have delivered the diploma to all teachers participating in this proposal.
"These initiatives are designed for smaller town to enjoy the first few weeks of summer in an accessible space in which fun," said Councilman area ilorcitano Joaquin Cremades Lorenzo.
"So the children of Lorquí can learn and enjoy a healthy life while making the most of their spare time and without giving a single chance to boredom," he says.
A bit of everything
A "Summer School" which, in schedule 10 to 13 hours, the participating children have carried out activities such as crafts, games, parties and creative workshops, the environment in which students have been assisted six monitors.
To participate in this fun and educational proposal, organized by the Department of Education, which had offered 120 beds, one of the essential requirements for participation was to be registered in the municipality in 2009-10 and have completed any degree of Childhood or Elementary.
