The Mayor of Lorquí, Joaquin Hernandez, had a meeting this morning with the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Murcia, Pedro García-Balibrea, in which they exchanged views on the current economic situation as it is affecting the commercial development in the region.
The mayor has requested the assistance of this institution for the promotion of industry and local businesses through initiatives to revitalize the sector and facilitate the enhancement of the resources available to the municipality.
So, has reiterated its interest in establishing and undertake joint actions and projects focused on commercial tissue Lorquí, such as specific campaigns or localized in certain periods of the year or training courses, among many other initiatives.
This will establish a collaboration and communication with this institution by those skilled in different areas and can provide advice and information through their experience to the traders in the town.
For his part, President of the Chamber of Commerce has reiterated its willingness to cooperate with any proposal that is beneficial for trade, industry, employment and the economy of any municipality in the region.
