The district of the widths renews its supply network thanks to the actions taken by the City of Lorquí for inclusion of a new decision from the drinking water supply located in the Sierra de la Espada, which will mean significant savings in this area.

The works that have been made are included within the Strategy Framework for Modernization and Optimization of Infrastructure and Municipal Services City of Lorquí.

This project was created through an agreement with the Commonwealth Taibilla Channel and with a budget of 50,000 euros, paid for by the Commonwealth itself, consisting of the execution of this new take supply and driving up municipal deposits of the widths.

Thanks to these actions will increase the supply sources of the municipality and reduce the use of pumping located in Los Palacios, which will impose significant energy and cost savings, enabling the development and implementation of an Improvement Plan Network Supply of the widths.

This plan, with a duration of five years and an investment of more than 100,000 euros in the time horizon of two to four years, including the restoration of the old tank for use in this area, which would increase the supply pressure and progressive renewal of the main arteries and connections that have become obsolete.
