20 neighboring Lorquí form as a professional home care (18/12/2013)

The mayor of the municipality, during the closing ceremony, said that this is a sector that is creating jobs and encouraged participants to evaluate alternatives such as self-employment.

A group of 20 neighboring Lorquí has ​​completed the course 'Training Home Care Professionals', organized by the City Council and the Federation of Rural Women (FADEMUR), with a total of 100 hours.

Due to increased our life expectancy, the health care sector has a growing need to hire qualified professionals, who are ready to provide guidance and care to both the user and their families in residential centers where they served and in their own homes.

Thus, it is a professional sector that is creating jobs and training an alternative for people who are unemployed.

Hence, the City of Lorquí continue betting on job creation through training measures geared to current needs in the labor market.

"Through these initiatives, we provide access to our neighbors to a job, through training courses designed to find employment in sectors that demand for professionals with at this time", as it has Lorquí insured Mayor Joaquin Hernandez, during the closing ceremony.

It has also encouraged the participants to assess the self-employment or cooperatives as alternative jobs in this sector.

In addition, this course will enable participants to access the second course planned for next year at City Hall, in collaboration with FADEMUR, for obtaining 'Certificate of Professional geriatric care to people in the Home'.
