The "Summer School" of Lorquí already underway.
Parents interested in enrolling their children in this initiative by the local Education Department, which has 120 places available and an enrollment of 15 euros per student, have until June 17 to do so.
This fun and educational proposal will be held from 10 to 13 hours throughout the month of July at a school in the municipality yet to be determined and participants will be assisted by six monitors to be responsible for implementing an entertaining program of recreational, entertainment and the environment.
One of the requirements necessary to participate in this "Summer School" is being registered in the municipality and in 2009-10 have completed any degree of Childhood or Elementary.
Thus, those who study in schools "Escámez Dolores" and "Jesus Garcia" the municipality may register in their own educational institution, while those surveyed in the municipality but to attend a foreign school can do so at the local council.
"This initiative is designed for smaller town to enjoy an accessible space in which fun," said Councilman area ilorcitano Joaquin Cremades Lorenzo.
"So the children of Lorquí can learn and enjoy a healthy life while making the most of their spare time and without giving a single chance to boredom," he says.
