The II Municipality Equality Plan will be presented

As usual, from the City Council of Lorquí and through the Department of Equality, International Women's Day is commemorated from a program with activities ranging from a reading recital to an exit to the Romea Theater.
There will also be the presentation of the book "It's Me" by Consuelo García Serrano, the "Amar as Oluales" breakfast talk by Miriam Oller Sánchez and the Flamenco Tribute organized by the Flamenco Cave Association, among many other events.
Thus, we will enjoy the March 8 Awards, which commemorate the achievements made by the struggle of women and vindicate gender equality in all aspects of society.
This year the event will be held next Friday, March 6 at 8:00 p.m. at the Cultural Center 'Enrique Tierno Galván, will be dedicated to the women of the hairdressing guild, an essential sector in the growth of our municipality.
This year, in addition to having the March 8 Awards, the II Equality Plan of the municipality will also be presented, these being the two central acts.
This plan will be accompanied by the inauguration of the plaque of the 'Victoria' monument giving more relevance to the fight for this real equality in all sectors of society.
This act will take place on March 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall of Lorquí.
In addition, for the fourth consecutive year, the programming poster has been selected from several designs made by the students of IES Romano García.
The winner of this year has been Rut Yepes, 1st grade student of the Bachelor of Humanities.
This initiative involves the youngest in their awareness about the celebration of this day, trying to get everyone to put their grain of sand in the fight for gender equality.
