Since this health crisis caused by COVID-19 began in the municipality of Lorquí, several disinfection and cleaning tasks have been carried out, in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
This time, from the Government Delegation, various resources have been mobilized to return to carry out a cleaning action where the members of this department, after coordinating with the local authorities, will go through different strategic points in the municipal area.
The actions to be carried out tomorrow Thursday consist of wet sweeping of public roads, washing of the streets with trucks that use water reinforced with surfactant drag detergents and, finally, disinfection with 0.1% sodium hypochlorite with backpacks sprayers.
Thus, from the Lorquí City Council, in addition to the actions that had been carried out by the Urban Environment company, with which the Lorquí City Council has a contract for waste collection and street cleaning in the town, new means have been incorporated and services in the fumigation of municipal buildings, an action that will be repeated once they are accessible and can be used again.
Donations have also been received by citizens to alleviate this pandemic.
And it is that, thanks to the solidarity of the neighbors and their selfless help, sterilization operations with tractors were carried out through the streets of the municipality.
"We are going through some very delicate moments in which the people of Lorquí are turning and helping so that we can return to normality as soon as possible, every day we receive a donation and it is very gratifying to see the fellowship and cooperation that we have in this municipality ", highlights the mayor of the municipality, Joaquín Hernández.
