As a consequence of the sanitary crisis generated by COVID-19, several companies and individuals have offered to make donations offering both food and sanitary and hygiene material.

"The solidarity that we have seen during the quarantine period, and that we continue to see now in the de-escalation process, is overwhelming.

Without a doubt, in Lorquí we have shown that in times of crisis we help each other," declared the mayor of the municipality, Joaquín Hernández. In this way, both the Lorquí City Council and the Local Civil Protection Association appreciate these actions that different sectors have carried out altruistically in favor of the most disadvantaged groups in the municipality.

Thus, it is necessary to establish a procedure from which the donations of those people who want to continue contributing or helping can be processed. Citizens and business sector who want to make donations should contact the Municipal Volunteer Association of the City of Lorquí, by the following means: telephone: 651386154, or email: proteccioncivil@lorqui.es.

They must indicate the type of donation, tax information and communication email.

The Protection Service will inform the City Council of the company or individual making the donation and the type of donation.

Finally, once the donation is made, the Municipal Volunteer Association will issue Proof of the donation so that the company can obtain the appropriate tax deductions.
