In a context in which the economic recession derived from the health pandemic is putting small and medium-sized companies across the country in real trouble, due to the lack of income as a result of the measures adopted to curb infections, the Lorquí City Council launches a second line of aid for shops and hotels for a total amount of 100,000 euros.
Aid in addition to those already approved in March and to an exclusive line for entrepreneurs, allocating a total of 200,000 euros to the economic recovery of the business sector. Thus, commercial and hotel establishments will receive direct aid of 1,000 euros, in the first case, and 1,500 euros, in the second, aimed at alleviating the unfavorable economic impact caused by the decrease in economic activity in general. "The economic recovery of the municipality necessarily demands an increase in consumption in the local hospitality and commerce establishments.
The activation of local commerce will revert to the well-being and quality of life of the neighbors", as the mayor of Lorquí has ??highlighted, Joaquín Hernández. Thus, the City Council considers it essential to dispense a second line of public aid, to the extent of budgetary possibilities, aimed at guaranteeing these self-employed micro-companies the liquidity that allows them to counter the damage they are suffering permanently, preserving its continuity, once the COVID-19 pandemic is overcome, Hernández said. To apply for the aid, a letter will be sent to all businesses and establishments informing of the necessary documentation that must be submitted by the General Registry.
