Lorquí City Council, through the Resource Center for Equality and in collaboration with local service Informajoven organized past Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 June, a visit with local students to the Museum of Science and Water Murcia.
The visit, aimed at students in grades 5 and 6 primary and of 1, 2, 3 and 4 of high school, coincided with the exhibition "Con A of astronomers," traveling exhibition that speaks to the difficult role of women in the study of the universe.
"Our students enjoyed knowing the science of astronomy, knowing more about concepts such as galaxies, stars, planets, comets ..." said the local Youth Councillor, Joaquín Lorenzo Cremades, who notes that young people "is spent in large Planetarium, whose dome saw a simulated night sky and observing the Milky Way, the main stars and constellations that form, the planets, the Moon ...".

The exhibition presents a pleasant and attractive a tour of the major milestones in astrophysics in which the role of women has been fundamental.

"With A Stargazers" has among its elements with some of the props from the film "Agora" by Alejandro Amenabar, who told the story of Hypatia, a natural philosopher from Alexandria who excelled in mathematics and astronomy.
