The mayor of Lorquí claims to the Community the construction of the Health Center for 2018 and aid for the industrial estates (24/11/2017)

The mayor of Lorquí, Joaquín Hernández, this week held a meeting with the president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, at the Palacio de San Esteban to discuss various matters of interest to the municipality, including the allocation of a departure budget for 2018 to enable the tender, next year, of the construction of a new health center in the municipality, "after more than 6 years fighting to make it a reality", as stressed by the mayor at the wheel press after that meeting.

Hernandez said that the Regional Chief Executive's commitment has been to be included in next year's budgets "as it is a project that is quite advanced and the City Council has already given a space of two thousand square meters in an area accessible from municipality".

He has also requested that the multi-year agreement that is pending signing for the construction of a new Municipal Library that houses study rooms and space for archiving and associations be materialized.

The mayor also transferred to the president the deficiencies of the sanitation system in the hamlet of La Anchosa, so he has asked for the installation of a collector to communicate the center of the town with the hamlet and thus be able to serve the residents of this zone.

As for the cabezos and cave houses, the mayor asked the president for help so that he could progressively undertake small actions on the public highway and in the steps that would solve a historical problem in the municipality.

On the other hand, Hernandez moved to the Autonomous Community the need to improve access from the A-30 to the three industrial parks with which Lorquí has, since "fortunately, more and more companies are installed in our industrial area and We need to clear the heavy traffic that circulates through our municipality. "

To do this, he demanded that the commitment of the Ministry of Development for the construction of a roundabout in the Saladar I be resumed to exit the truck traffic of the Saladar II.

As well as a line of aid to act and undertake renewal actions in the industrial zones of the municipalities.

Finally, he reminded him of the discontent and discomfort generated in the various municipalities in the area through which the river passes due to the poor state of it and the poor maintenance that the Segura Hydrographic Confederation is carrying out.
