A year and to mark the festivity of Santiago Apostle, the City of Lorquí make a gift to your neighbors.
Following the tradition of recent years to offer useful and ingenious gifts this year, the Consistory ilorcitano has decided to give a beach umbrella, ideal for enjoying the long sunny days ahead.
Also as usual in the town, residents who want this can pick up at the Town Hall offices ilorcitano conjunction with the Book Festival, which this year take place between 16 and 25 July.
The umbrella, red ornaments studded with drops of water, is imprinted on both ends of the brand logo of the tourist center, which includes the slogan "Lorqui, history and legend."
This gift is in addition to those already given in previous years, as an umbrella or a flag with the Cross of St. James.
"Every year we look forward to the challenge with great surprise to our neighbors with an attractive and useful gift," says the local mayor, Dolores Garcia Villa, who hopes "to have hit again this year."
"We are looking forward to the holidays to enjoy another year of happiness of our neighbors and festive harmony and also to see how it received the umbrella of this year," said Garcia Villa.
