A total of 23 residents of Lorquí receive a professional license that certifies them for use and handling of pesticides pesticides after the completion of a training course of 30 hours, organized by the City of Lorquí and taught by the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of the Region of Murcia (FECOAM).
The formation, completely free, has consisted of a theoretical part, over five days, and an evaluation test to demonstrate the preparation acquired during these days.
During the ceremony of accreditations Lorquí mayor, Joaquín Hernández, said that "it is an honor to have neighbors and professionals, workers, that in difficult moments in which the crisis is playing a trick in many sectors, bet to increase and improve their qualities and skills on a professional level. "
Also highlighted the important role being played by the City of Lorquí currently betting on training and coaching initiatives to increase opportunities for employability of its neighbors, "because Lorquí is betting on the job."
For his part, Councillor for Agriculture, Isidoro Martinez stressed that the agriculture sector is suffering badly the current state of the economy, but "we must not forget that it is a key sector in our society and in our region", by which reiterated its support for workers in this field, "something that the City Council have Lorquí".
