The Spring Concert Choir Rondalla and Lorquí marks the beginning of a program with educational activities and entertainment for all ages.
Lorquí City Council, through the Department of Culture, organized the IV Cultural Week with educational and recreational activities for all ages including all areas, areas and cultural expressions.
So, this year's music, theater, history, literature, painting and film will be among the protagonists of a comprehensive program that goes from 12 to 26 April.
The program began last Sunday with the traditional Spring Concert by the Choir Rondalla and Lorquí in the auditorium Enrique Tierno Galván, and continues this week with the Children's Painting Competition I 'Lorquí in Spring' in which students participate of the two schools in the municipality.
During the weekend, you can participate in the presentation of the book "The flight of my mental prison 'by José Martínez, on Friday 17 from 20.30 in the Hall of City Hall;
Saturday 18 Poetry Recital Antonio Machado and others, by the Literary Association 'Villa de Archena', in the auditorium of Lorquí at 20.30;
and, finally, on Sunday 19th presentation of the play 'The Little Red' at 18.00.
Beginning Monday, April 20 activities continue with the talk 'Chronicles of Lorquí' at 20.30 in the Auditorium;
Tuesday 21 at 18.00 in the Plenary Hall, roundtable 'Citizen Participation: The role of partnerships in educational and cultural life of Lorquí', organized by the Association Camino Humanism and Science.
On Wednesday and Thursday will be devoted to the cinema with the screening of two films in the Auditorium, the first one at 21.30 devoted to adult public the second at 18.30 for the smallest of the house.
On Friday 24 will begin with a day of indoor climbing and inflatables for students in schools in the municipality in the courtyard of the Roman IES García from 09.00 and at night, at 21.30, opening of the XIX Exhibition Painting of Young Artists from Lorquí under the direction of Manuela Carrillo in the Exhibition Hall of the City Council.
For the weekend, and closure of the program, Saturday 25 marathoners Reading Multilingual be held in the Auditorium Enrique Tierno Galván at 18.30, and Sunday April 26, Concert Pasodobles Band Association Friends of Music Lorquí, in the Auditorium at 12.30 and Closing Ceremony of the IV Cultural Week with a magic show and the awards of the Short Story Competition 2015 Photography Competition III Villa de Lorquí, I Photography Competition Instagram and I Children's Painting Competition in the auditorium Enrique Tierno Galván at 18.30.
The Councillor for Culture, María Dolores García, highlighted the important cultural activity that takes place in the town by associations throughout the year and culminates and is complete with this program dedicated to culture for everyone.
He also thanked the cooperation and involvement of associations and residents of Lorquí in the organization and preparation of these activities.
