The Department of Health continues its usual Lorquí prevention campaign aimed at local women, held in the municipality within the Program for Prevention of Breast Cancer.

So, tomorrow, Wednesday 19 November, a mobile unit will be located next to the local council to make the round of reviews relevant to women between 50 and 69 years included in this program and have received and mail the citation for his home.

These tests have a thorough medical examination including the completion of a mammogram, to determine their state of health in order to act in time in case of illness.

Thus, the objectives of screening is to reduce mortality from this disease and improve quality of life of women who suffer.
