Lorquí prepares for the magic of San Juan (11/06/2009)

The June 24 is celebrated throughout the national geography the feast of San Juan and, following tradition, the Spanish crowd made and lit bonfires to have fun and try to get the most out of the magic of the evening, known as the "Night of Fire."

Along these lines, the City Council has issued an edict Lorquí with which seeks to regulate the holding of these fires and it prevent any incident.

Thus, those wishing to hold a bonfire must inform in advance and in writing to the City, with precise indication of the place and can understand approved if there is no express refusal.

In addition, the stack to form the fire will not exceed 5 meters in height and combustible materials shall be restricted to solid, being banned tires, foam, plastic and aerosol cans of any kind, or any other material capable explosion or emission of smoke and / or toxic or harmful gas.

The band released indicates that the fires shall have a minimum distance of 50 meters from any building, wiring, installation or vehicle, and also prohibits the placement of the fires on any type of pavement urbanized, either asphalt, tiling, gardening public, etc.

On the other hand, you can not proceed to the burning of the fire until it has not been supervised by the local police and the person responsible for the fire shall ensure that the day after the conclusion, everything is in excellent clean condition and order.
