Lorquí will be rehabilitated natural park located next to an industrial park The Saladar (28/10/2009)

On the morning of Wednesday 28 October Mayor Lorqui, Dolores Garcia Villa, and the director general of Biodiversity and Natural Heritage, Paul Fernandez, have made a visit to inspect the current status of natural park in the green area of the polygon Industrial "El Saladar I" of the municipality ilorcitano.

A park will be rehabilitated in the near future thanks to a project with an implementation period of two months and a budget of 50,000 euros, provided entirely by the bank "La Caixa" under an agreement signed with the Ministry of Agriculture Water and Regional Government.

After a presentation at the Plenary Hall of the City ilorcitano, which is explained by the characteristics of this project, the delegation visited the natural site, located next to the B-33 (about two kilometers from the town urban) in Canada known as the Music and has 5'24 hectares.

Environmental improvement

Among the work planned will work to improve and reclamation of degraded sites in the area, removed debris and cleaned green spaces, will proceed to the improvement of stands (of pine and salt marsh) and will create trails the practice of outdoor sports activities and facilities for educational and environmental interpretation.

In addition, recreational areas will be enabled (with its street furniture) and installed the appropriate signage (flat and interpretive signs) and signs.
